University Liaison Committee

Committee Charge:

To increase the total number of UMAST members through retention of existing members and recruitment of new members from local universities at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Committee Objectives:

• To double the amount of university and college membership by increasing working with several UMAST members who are students at various schools.

Committee Tasks:

• This can be done by class presentations, brochures and meetings
  • Promote the benefits of students joining UMAST to Professors
  • Recruit UMAST members attending different universities/colleges to act as membership boosters
• UMAST posters can be placed in university/college student centers and cafeterias
• Membership information can be placed in student newsletters
• All college students will be given the option to join at the student rate or the option to join at full membership with voting rights
